Job Responsibilities

  • To provide leadership to the care staff within the service.
  • To provide care in accordance with current best practices, according to policy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements and relevant regulations, under the direction of the Manager.
  • To supervise the care services within the organisation in accordance with agreed standards.
  • To maintain skills at a current level, and undertake such training and development as may, from time-to-time, be required to maintain practices as up to date.

Location

The service premises, but you may be required to work from other locations at the discretion of the company and with appropriate notice.

Working Hours

5 days over a 7-day period, as agreed with the Manager

Field care supervisor

Reports to Care Coordinator/Registered Manager

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in the efficient running and the Management/Supervision/Training of Care/Support Staff.
  • Ensure that the Quality of Service Provision meets with policies and expectations.
  • Ensure that Regulatory Requirements are met.
  • Undertake and Implement Service User Assessments, Care/Support Plans, Risk Assessments and Reviews, following all aspects of health and safety requirements as specified within the Health and Safety Policy and Procedure and in accordance with training given.
  • To provide Care to Service Users and be part of the on-call team as required.
  • At all times observe and respect the service user’s dignity, privacy and independence as far as is practical.
